The terminology designers use to describe grandma trying and failing to change tv channels.

She rings up her son to complain she can't get that Antiques Roadshow on the box.

The son ends up driving 5 miles to diagnose the problem in person.

It turned out that Freeview needed a manual retune which the son wasn't aware of because his tv was set to retune automatically.

This whole daily battle just to watch tv, make phone calls and buy theatre tickets online is called the 'user journey'.
