Day 2 is about Democratic Money in the evening and continuing the Liquid Wiki sprint in the daytime.
10.30 Zoom conference, as yesterday being recorded
11.30 The chat function in Zoom is being utilised to conference with developers and juggling space on the projector screen is a challenge.
11.40 Doing a facilitation breakout table with David Bovill, Dil Green and Nicerine Razwani Bres. We are going over the basics of Federated Wiki.
12.30 Dil mentions the influence of Pattern Language.
12.40 Started a discussion around the exact technicality of Asynchronous Collaboration using FedWiki.
13.00 Scenarios are being devised which represent the User Journey.
13.30 Lunch Break is being quorum sensed.
14.45 Back to work
14.50 At the coding table, Atom with Teletype is being used. The group are using Mattermost to stay connected between coders in the same room and remotely.
15.30 Strategies for coding are pitched and tested in rapid cycles around the table, using the Teletype on Atom to share screen views of code changes.
15.45 David has opened a Zoom conference and Duke has joined on screen. Connor Turland describes the mechanics of JSON being retrieved and parsed. Art and Daniel conceptualise how to break down the coding into discreet parts.
16.00 Connor directs the team to split into working on smaller components, which parallelises the workflow. The exchange of good practice at the table (an implicit part of the dialogue) enables peer mentoring so other coders are constantly upskilling. As an observer this interests me regarding the I-Space model of tacit and implicit information.
16.45 The coders are having a quick break.
17.00 Dil and Andrew are rapid-prototyping a facilitation led event at 7pm based on personas enrolling in a LETS scheme which uses a 'currency' called VOZ, and a voice chatbot interface.
18.00 The space starts to transition into wind-down mode and a break before the 7pm session on metacurrency. Dil and Art prepare.
